Dan Liu

Dan Liu (he/him/his) serves as the Senior Program Coordinator in the Boston University School of Theology Office of Registration and Financial Aid. He began serving as Acting Senior Program Coordinator in January 2026. In his current role, Dan supports students with course registration, student records, academic petitions, BTI cross-registration, and first-semester registration for incoming master’s students, while also helping students connect with financial aid resources and the appropriate University offices. His work focuses on helping students navigate academic and administrative processes clearly and successfully.

Before joining the Office of Registration and Financial Aid full-time, Dan served as both the Community Life Coordinator and International Student Life Coordinator at STH from 2024 to 2026. In those roles, he helped organize community programming, supported international students in navigating University resources and procedures, and worked with students, staff, and student leaders across the School. In 2026, Dan was named Boston University’s Graduate Student Employee of the Year.

Dan is also a two-time graduate of the School of Theology, earning his Master of Theological Studies in 2024 and his Master of Sacred Theology in 2026. Originally from Hebei, China, a province that geographically surrounds Beijing, Dan came to Boston for theological education and has remained deeply connected to the STH community as a student, student employee, and administrator. He now lives in Belmont with his wife.
