Andrew E. Kimble
Director of Alumni Programs & Strategic Engagement
Rev. Andrew Kimble enjoys sustaining collaborative partnerships between educational institutions and the wider public. At Boston University School of Theology (STH), Rev. Kimble co-leads philanthropic and alumni engagement initiatives, helping to raise financial support for the school and keep STH’s 4,000 alumni connected by organizing special events and directing the online lifelong learning program. He’s served as an educational advisor for the Trauma-Responsive Congregations grant project and co-directed the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Rev. Kimble’s an ordained itinerant elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church, but he currently serves as interim pastor at the Eliot Congregational Church of Roxbury (UCC). He’s also an advisory board member for Cambridge Forum and the Black Sports Ministry Network. In his free time, Rev. Kimble relaxes with family and friends, listens to jazz, mentors youth, and struggles on crossword puzzles.
