Profile

Isabel Carrasco Castro, PhD in Aesthetics (2013), has developed a twofold professional career in the field of International Education as a lecturer and as an administrator. As an adjunct professor, she has taught general courses on Art History and Contemporary Art for various universities. In recent years, aligned with her research interests, her teaching has focused on calligraphy, graffiti, and street art.

Isabel is a very active researcher, constantly working on publications, participating in conferences, street art contests, and talks. She is also a member of the scientific board of specialized journals on urban creativity, graffiti, and street art.

Things that define her include calligraphy, crochet, plant-based food, activism, her dog, music and urban culture.
