  • Spanish Economics within the EU (EN)

Jorge Martín recently joined BU as an instructor of Spanish Economics within the European Union. He holds a PhD in Finance from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (Madrid), a degree in Economics with a Master’s in International Economics and Development and a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He has been working for over 20 years in finance, including 13 years at the Wealth Management branch of UBS AG in Zürich. During his career, Jorge has had broad exposure to almost every asset class such as equities, fixed income, real estate, hedge funds, commodities and managed different discretionary and non-discretionary portfolios. Over the last 6 years, he has lectured at different postgraduate programs at both Esade and ICADE Business Schools at their respective Barcelona and Madrid campuses. His current areas of interest include alternative investments with special focus on sustainable, responsible and impact investments and how they can help to reshape and refine current capitalism.
