Students Interested in Attending Boston University
Students who are eligible through their parent’s employer to apply for Tuition Exchange benefits and who wish to apply to Boston University should contact the Tuition Exchange Liaison Officer at his/her sponsoring institution. For academic year 2025/2026, Boston University will award the scholarship to 10 students who are planning to enter their freshman year of college in Fall 2025. For the 2025/2026 academic year, the tuition award at Boston University is $43,000.
All Tuition Exchange scholarship application requests must be received by the Boston University Tuition Exchange Liaison Officer no later than January 1, 2025.
Students will be selected for the Tuition Exchange Scholarship based on a comprehensive review of their application for admission. The students most competitive for this scholarship will have distinguished themselves through outstanding performance in a rigorous high school curriculum and demonstrated leadership in their schools and communities. In addition, the Board of Admissions will consider standardized test scores (SAT or ACT), essays, as well as teacher and counselor recommendations.
The Tuition Exchange process is completely separate from the admissions process at Boston University. Boston University admissions information may be obtained from the Admissions office.
