Welcome to the Benefits Home Page! This site has been created to help Boston University’s faculty and staff understand their employee benefits.

Health & Wellness provides easily accessible information about Health and Dental Plans, Disability, QuitNet, Fitness and Recreation, and the Faculty/Staff Assistance Office.

Finances includes information about Boston University’s life and accident insurance plans, retirement and other financial plans as well as tools and resources to prepare for the future.

Work/Life is where you can find out about your Vacation and Sick Time, Flexible Spending Accounts for you and your dependents, and more. Also, if you have a change in your family or a change in work, such as taking a leave of absence, refer to the Work/Life section for information about how your benefits will be affected.

Tuition Remission and Tuition Exchange are two programs which help pay for college tuition for you, your spouse and your dependent children.

Administrative Information has plan specifics, such as how to appeal a denied claim and your rights under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA).  Summary Annual Reports can be found here.

Additionally…

New employees may enroll in their benefits for the first time through Employee Self Service available at BUWorks Central. To make changes to your benefits, print and complete the appropriate forms and submit them to Charles River Human Resources. Benefit forms are available in Forms & Documents.
