Welcome to the Global Health Initiative at Boston University (GHI). This web site is designed to inform and engage you with the mission and activities of this University-wide, multidisciplinary initiative and to serve as a portal into BU’s diverse efforts to improve the health of populations around the globe. By building on BU’s many existing faculty and program strengths, especially those based at the School of Public Health (BUSPH) and Center for International Health and Development (CIHD), and through collaborative efforts between the Medical and Charles River campuses, the GHI is fostering an integrative approach to BU’s research, education, and outreach in global health.
BU Center for International Health and Development awarded MCH-Star India Grant. The project will work with the Government of India to improve maternal and child health and nutrition. More
