Note About COVID-19

Over the past few months, Boston University has closely monitored the growing impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak both internationally and locally. Due to the increased spread of the coronavirus throughout the United States and around the world, teaching at Boston University will be transitioning to a Learn from Anywhere model for the Fall 2020 semester. During this time, we will not be hosting any in-person walk-in visits, in-person Friday Visits or in-person Information Sessions, and campus will not be open to the general public. Prospective students are encouraged to attend the virtual events below. Please reach out to our office at if you have any questions.

Upcoming Virtual Events

Financial Aid Webinar 

Join us for a virtual information session on financial aid for both domestic and international applicants. We will discuss scholarship aid, applying for FAFSA, in-school deferment and entrance and exit counseling as well as additional resources to help you finance your education. Tatiana Antoine, Assistant Director of Student Financial Services, will lead the webinar:

Virtual Information Sessions

Admissions hosts a series of virtual information sessions throughout the school year between August and January.

These events are great opportunities to learn more about the SPH community, our academic offerings, and the application process. Students interested in doctoral programs (DrPH/PhD) are encouraged to schedule an individual appointment in lieu of attending an information session.

Information sessions are offered in the evening as a slightly more formal overview of programs, resources, and the admissions process. These sessions also have ample time for Q&A.

Friday Visits are a more informal chance to speak with a student as well as an admissions representative and ask questions about your program of interest.

On the Road: Graduate School Fairs

SPH participates in a series of online virtual fairs and graduate school fairs throughout the year. These events offer the opportunity to ask the School’s representatives any questions you have about the program or application process.

Regional Events

Join us for an event in your area. Stop by, have some food, and chat with Admissions representatives—then join us and some of our alumni for a reception afterwards.

SPH Admissions also attends a number of professional group meetings, speaks to undergraduate students at local universities, and participates in professional association panel discussions.
