2025 Annual Performance Review
While the merit process will not take place this year, the University is still required to conduct staff performance reviews for the 2025 calendar year for those individuals hired before November 30, 2025. The performance reviews will focus on the accomplishments and improvements made in 2025.
We have developed a new performance evaluation form to align with this process. In addition to accomplishments and improvements, there is also a section designed to help managers and individuals establish goals and objectives for the upcoming year. These goals and objectives will serve as the foundation for the transition to Chart Your Career. We are working with IS&T to make this form electronic for the 2025 process and ask that all managers use this form to complete their performance reviews for 2025.
As we introduce the “learning series” for Chart Your Career, we want to ensure that the community has sufficient time to complete the 2025 performance process comfortably. The deadline to complete the 2025 performance reviews is Wednesday, February 11, 2026.
Important Dates
- Ensure reporting relationships are correct and up to date by November 19, 2025.
- All staff hired before November 30, 2025 will receive a performance review.
- The date for submitting the performance review is February 11, 2026.
- An electronic form will become available on January 8, 2026. All managers must use this form to complete staff performance reviews for non-represented staff.
Tasks to Complete Before 2026
- Ensure that the reporting relationships for employees are correct and up to date by November 19, 2025.
- Begin to reflect on this past year and start to define goals and objectives for 2026.
- Start the process for gathering self-assessments. Feel free to use this template if needed.
