12/9: Jorge Delva Among Five BU Deans Discussing University Policy at CTSI Panel Event

The Boston University Clinical & Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI) is hosting a virtual panel event on December 9th featuring deans from five Boston University schools and colleges:
- Jorge Delva, BU School of Social Work
- Karen Antman, BU School of Medicine
- David Chard, BU Wheelock College of Education & Human Development
- Sandro Galea, BU School of Public Health
- Christopher Moore, BU Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences
Titled “Bidirectional Conversations to Change University Policy,” the event provides a forum for the deans to discuss key topics in changing university policy, including the process for tenure and promotion of community engaged researchers.
Dean Jorge Delva of BUSSW is a nationally recognized expert on substance use and ethnic health inequities who has authored more than 150 publications. In addition to his role as dean, he is director and Paul Farmer Professor for the School’s Center for Innovation in Social Work & Health (CISWH) where he works to expand social work’s impact in public health to improve the lives of vulnerable populations.
