SPH Snapshot: Winter on Campus

Scenes from campus in January, from a student organization fair to a presentation of a heat sensor pilot project.

Student Organization Fair

Graduate Student Life hosted a Student Organization Fair at Chequers Cafe on Wednesday, January 29. Students mingled with representatives from each of SPH’s student organizations, learning how to become involved and make a difference on campus.

Climate and Health Pilot Study

Patricia Fabian, associate professor of environmental health, and her team presented the results of this summer’s B-COOL pilot study at The Boston Foundation on Wednesday, January 22. Members of the media, local government, and several non-profit organizations were in attendance.

New Student Orientation

Orientation is designed to introduce new students to the school, acquaint them with resources and involvement opportunities, and officially welcome them to the “Terrier Family.” New January enrollees toured campus and heard a variety of speakers discuss what to expect over the next several years.

SPH Community Lunch

On January 29, students, faculty, and staff enjoyed a tasty lunch hosted by the Career & Practicum Office and Graduate Student Life.
