Room Selection Proxy Option
If you are unable to participate in the Room Selection process at your assigned time due to a class, work obligation, or other scheduling conflict, BUÂ Housing offers a proxy option.
By requesting a proxy, you authorize BU Housing to select a room on your behalf based on your submitted preferences and availability at the time of your selection.
Please note the following:
- Proxy requests must be submitted via email in advance of your scheduled selection time, including campus location, room type options, and information how to assign any confirmed roommates.
- While every effort is made to select a space that aligns with your preferences, specific room or roommate requests cannot be guaranteed.
- Assignments are based on availability at the time your selection window opens.
