Same Room Pull-In Process
This process is for eligible students who participated in the Same Room Selection Process and would like to assign eligible, confirmed roommate group members into open spaces within their unit.
March 2: Students receive their Same Room Pull-In timeslot
March 5: Same Room Pull-In – all classes
March 5: Same Room Opt-Out ends
Gender-Affirming Selection Process
This process is for eligible students who would like to try to select from available gender-affirming rooms and have not been assigned during the Same Room or Same Room Pull-In. Students may assign eligible, confirmed roommate group members into open spaces within a unit. Read more about Gender-Affirming Housing at BU.
March 16: Students receive Gender-Affirming Selection timeslot
March 17: Gender-Affirming Selection
Gender-Neutral Selection Process
This process is for eligible students who would like to try to select from available gender-neutral rooms and have not been assigned during a previous process. Students may assign eligible, confirmed roommate group members into open spaces within a unit. Read more about Gender-Neutral Housing at BU.
March 18: Students receive Gender-Neutral Selection timeslot
March 19: Gender-Neutral Selection
Internal Selection Process
This process is for eligible students who would like to try to select from available rooms in their current residence and have not been assigned during a previous process. Students may assign eligible, confirmed roommate group members into open spaces within a unit.
March 20: Students receive Internal Selection timeslot
March 23: Internal Selection for seniors
March 24: Internal Selection for juniors and sophomores
Community Selection Process
This process is for eligible students who would like to try to select from available spaces from across campus and have not been assigned during a previous process, Same Room Pull-In or Internal Selection processes. Students may assign eligible, confirmed roommate group members into open spaces within a unit.
March 25: Students receive Community Selection timeslot
March 26: Community Selection for seniors
March 27: Community Selection for juniors
March 30 and 31: Community Selection for sophomores
License Agreement Cancellation Dates
By July 1
Cancellation deadline to receive $300 refund of Housing Guarantee Payment. Students who had the Housing Guarantee Payment deferred will be charged $300.
July 2 – August 1
Students may cancel their Residence License Agreement, but will not receive any rebate of the Housing Guarantee Payment. Students who had the Housing Guarantee Payment deferred will be charged $600. No cancellations are accepted after August 1.
