8/18: Dean Delva in NASW-MA’s ‘Toward Anti-Racism’

BUSSW dean Jorge Delva joins other leaders of social work education at “Moving Toward Anti-Racism: Convening on Racial Justice.” The day-long virtual conference, hosted by the National Association of Social Workers’ Massachusetts Chapter (NASW-MA), is designed to help social work institutions practice their commitment to antiracism. In addition to a panel discussion featuring Dean Delva, the conference includes a variety of workshops and a keynote speech by Marianne Yoshioka.
Jorge Delva is dean of BU School of Social and director and Paul Farmer Professor of BUSSW’s Center for Innovation in Social Work & Health. He is a nationally recognized expert on substance use disorders and ethnic health inequities in the US and globally.
