Barbara Stilwell, executive director of Nursing Now, was the keynote speaker at the Dean's Symposium, "Nursing and the Health of Populations" on Tuesday.
The symposium also featured a panel of nursing experts in clinical, academic, administrative, and policy roles, and the panel was moderated by Maureen Bisognano, president emerita and senior fellow of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.
During the sixth annual Giving Day on Wednesday, SPH staff and volunteers gathered around a leaderboard to monitor donations to SPH fundraisers throughout the day.
Giving Day donations to SPH funds on Wednesday supported the school's research, scholarship, and practice.
By midnight, SPH had exceeded its goal of 400 donors and set a new record with 488 donors.
A Health Policy and Law networking event connected students with alumni working in the field on Wednesday.

The eighth annual show featured a variety of dance, music, and comedy performances, including this lively dance routine by students.
