Phonebank for Transgender Equality.

March 28, 2018
Twitter Facebook

This November, the repeal of Massachusetts’ non-discrimination law will be on the ballot—and students on Boston University’s Medical Campus are joining together to take a stand and help keep discrimination out of our Commonwealth!

When: Friday, April 13th from 1 PM – 5 PM
Where:  Instructional Building, Room L110
Please RSVP

On Friday, April 13th join our Activist Fellow, the BUSPH Student Queer Alliance, and Freedom for All Massachusetts—the campaign working to defend transgender equality—for an important phone bank to mobilize the support we need to win.

We’ll spend the day phone banking to help grow and strengthen the support we need to win in November!

Never phone banked before? No worries. We’ll have a full training, with organizers there to support you every step of the way.

In Massachusetts, we believe everyone should be treated fairly.

This law is about protecting the freedom of all Massachusetts residents—including those who are transgender—to live their lives free from discrimination. All hardworking people. including those who are transgender, should be treated fairly and equally by the laws of our state, and that’s why we updated Massachusetts law this past year. Nobody should have to live in fear of discrimination simply because of who they are.
