Join us for a guest lecture co-sponsored by the CAPDIE and Health Communication and Promotion certificates! Speaker: Shoba Ramanadhan, ScD, MPH Shoba is a Senior Scientist at the Center for Community-Based Research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and a Research Scientist in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Her research and community engagement activities focus on increasing the use of evidence-based programs in community-based organizations, particularly those serving vulnerable populations. She designs and tests interventions that increase staff capacity and leverage social networks to support the use of research evidence in community settings. Much of her work is conducted in partnership with leaders of health-focused coalitions, using a community-based participatory research approach. Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP at the link above!
