Greetings,

Convocation is just around the corner, and we need your help to make it a memorable celebration for our graduates!

The SPH Convocation will take place on Saturday, May 16, from 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM at the Track and Tennis Center (100 Ashford St.), followed by a tented reception from 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM on the adjacent field.

Why Volunteer?
Volunteers play a vital role in ensuring the event runs smoothly. You’ll assist with ushering students, faculty, and guests, support student and faculty robing, and be a friendly resource for attendees.

Time Commitment
We ask that volunteers be available all day—arriving at 7:30 AM for setup and staying through the event breakdown, we will have you out of there no later than 1:30pm.

Volunteer Training
To set you up for success, we’ll hold a training session on Wednesday, May 13, from 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM in INS112. We’ll review the schedule, assign responsibilities, and answer any questions. Zoom link to follow.

  • Compensatory time off or overtime pay: Full-time staff employees can receive a compensatory day off (coordinate with your supervisor).
