To the SPH Community,
As we move into the summer months, we recognize the importance of flexibility and its value for work-life balance. We know that this time of year often includes changes in schedules and on-site presence across our community. While we are a 12-month operation and have Think-Teach-Do activities year-round, we also have to balance these requirements.
In that spirit, and in recognition of our strategy of ensuring a thriving community, we would like to announce flexibility for this summer. During the period from July 6 through August 10, 2026, SPH staff may work remotely, provided the arrangement is approved by their supervisor and is consistent with their unit’s needs and ongoing business operations.
This flexibility is intended to support staff while ensuring that the school’s work continues effectively. Supervisors will make final determinations based on operational needs and the nature of each employee’s responsibilities. Staff who prefer or need to work on campus during this time are, of course, welcome to do so.
We are grateful for our staff’s hard work throughout the year and hope this summer’s flexibility reflects our continued commitment to a supportive and adaptable workplace.
