Sometimes your needs and schedule change — and your meal plan can change with you. Whether you’re an incoming student adjusting to campus life, a continuing student with a new routine, or an off-campus student looking for more flexibility, it’s easy to update your plan to match your lifestyle. Changing your meal plan ensures you’ll always have the right balance of convenience, value, and access to the meals you enjoy most.

Changing Your Meal Plan

For the Spring 2026 semester, there is a two-week period during which you can upgrade your meal plan, starting from Friday, January 16, 2026 through Thursday, January 29, 2026. To do so, visit the My Housing Portal and select the “Meal Plan” tab, where you can then select your new meal plan. Please note that meal plans may only be changed to one of equal or higher value than the plan that is currently active.

Beyond this two-week period, you will be unable to change your meal plan for the semester. Changes for the upcoming semester will take place at a later time. Students can revisit the application once more during the spring semester.

For the Spring 2026 semester, if you are a student living in apartment-style housing or off-campus, to cancel an existing meal plan, visit the My Housing Portal, select the “Meal Plan” tab, and cancel your current plan on or before the cancellation deadline of Friday, January 16, 2026. Please note that the cancellation becomes effective immediately after the request is submitted. If you are assigned to a traditional or suite-style room, meal plans are required and you will be unable to cancel.
