Graduation.
SPH graduates students three times each year: at the end of the summer semester, at the end of the fall semester, and at the end of the spring semester. Students must apply to graduate. The online form is available on the SPH Forms page.
Graduation Application Deadlines
January 2026 – applications due June 1, 2025
May 2026 – applications due November 1, 2025
August 2026 – applications due March 1, 2026
Please note: certificates, degree programs, and faculty may set specific deadlines that students must meet to graduate, and students must adhere to those deadlines.
Doctoral students must work with their program directors and follow the Doctoral Student Calendar and Workflow. Doctoral students planning to defend their thesis or dissertation should contact Brendan McDermott at Mugar Library at least a month prior to their defense date to check in regarding specifics of formatting and publishing their work.
