Orientation by Program
Charles River (On-Campus) MSW Program
Date: Tuesday, September 2, 2025
Orientation will introduce you to our Master of Social Work (MSW) program and the various resources available to you. Charles River (On-Campus) students are required to attend.

Off-Campus: Fall River & Worcester Hybrid MSW Program
Pre-Entrance Activities
Each of our Off-Campus & Hybrid MSW program sites hold an orientation event at their respective campus during the summer months. Details will be sent via email and posted here as they become available.
Orientation is your opportunity to learn about the structure and expectations of your program, find out about the resources available to you, and get to know the other members of your campus cohort.
Please note, these orientation events are mandatory.

Online MSW Program
Online Program Orientation
Orientation for Online Program (OLP) students takes place prior to the start of each semester.
OLP students are required to participate in both the live OLP Orientation webinar and the self-paced OLP New Student tutorial.
Orientation Information for Students Entering the Program in Summer 2025:

- RSVP HERE by August 25
- Online Campus New Student Orientation – Self–paced tutorial (includes Live Classroom training) becomes available two weeks prior to the beginning of each semester. Login information will be emailed to admitted students.
PhD Program
The 2025 PhD Program Orientation will be held in September. Additional details will be emailed to you and posted here as they become available.
