Melanie Morris is a doctoral candidate at Boston University School of Social Work. Her main research interest is focused on addressing oral health care inequities among Latinx communities, specifically examining the intersection of socioeconomic, race, and language proficiency factors. Her goal is to collaborate with communities to develop culturally tailored interventions to address individual-, community-, and institutional-level factors that contribute to disparities in access to quality oral health care.
