11/16: Prof. Jacobson López Shares Expertise on Preventing & Addressing Sexual Assault of LGBTQ+ Students of Color

Prof. Danny Jacobson López from BU School of Social Work will give a lecture on sexual assault for the BU Student Government and Sexual Assault Prevention (SAP) to help change the narrative around LGBTQ+ students of color. The talk, “Too Often Silenced: Experiences of Reporting and Considerations for LGBT Sexual Assault Survivors of Color” will discuss the nuances and additional challenges of reporting and preventing the sexual assault of people in marginalized groups. Prof. Jacobson López will also touch on his role as a BU confidential resource provider.
