Feb. 18: Prof. Augsberger Co-Leads “Creating and Nurturing Community Advisory Boards” for BU’s CTSI Education Series

Learn the ins-and-outs of community advisory boards with BU School of Social Work assistant professor Astraea Augsberger and Kimberly Nelson, assistant professor at BU School of Public Health. 

Their one-hour session, “Creating and Nurturing Community Advisory Boards,” is part of the BU Clinical and Translational Science Institute’s 3rd Thursday Community Engagement Education Series, an initiative spearheaded by Linda Sprague Martinez, assistant professor and chair of macro practice at BUSSW. The series provides an educational platform for community engaged research approaches while promoting networking among BU colleagues who are actively engaging communities in the research process.
