Biography
Shih-Jen Hwang, PhD is an Adjunct Research Assistant Professor of Biostatistics at the Boston University School of Public Health. Her affiliation is the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI) of the National Institute of Health (NIH). She is the Health Statistician of the NIH's Framingham Heart Study since 2005. Her research activities focus on genetic statistics for aging related health burden that she aims to quantify genetic and environmental factors that foster favorable health by minimizing age-related disease burden.
