Over the past several weeks, the School of Public Health responded to the worldwide call for physical distancing to reduce transmission of the virus that causes COVID-19. Classes were moved to online instruction, and the school’s signature programs — including one assessing the state of current COVID-19 knowledge — were also changed to an online only format. Future events will also follow this format; the next event, on the overlooked scourge of tuberculosis, will be a worldwide Zoom Meeting webinar.

Despite the changes, the school continues to operate all of its core functions of research, teaching, and practice, with key staff handling student inquiries remotely and limited numbers of students and faculty using the libraries.
