Contested Domains: The Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights of People Living with HIV, April 29.

April 11, 2013
Twitter Facebook

Substantial strides have been made in the global response to HIV. Linkages between HIV and sexual and reproductive health programs have improved uptake of key services such as access to antiretroviral therapy (ART) and prevention of mother-to-child transmission, and ART and pre-exposure prophylaxis have proven effective in reducing HIV transmission between partners. At the same time, sexual decision-making outside of the context of reproduction, which encompasses decisions surrounding a wide range of sexual behaviors, is often ignored. This meeting, organized by the Group on Reproductive Health and Rights and co-sponsored by the Boston University Center for Global Health & Development, University of Southern California Institute for Global Health, and Harvard School of Public Health, will highlight the sexual and reproductive health and rights of a diverse community of people living with HIV.

Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP: http://grhrevent29april.eventbrite.com.

Monday, 4/29, from 10am-1pm in Hiebert

For more information, please contact Lisa Messersmith ( ljmesser@bu.edu) and Liz Henry ( ehenry@bu.edu).
