Jon Levy Honored as Distinguished Young Risk Analyst.
Jonathan Levy, a professor of environmental health at BUSPH, has been named the winner of the 2012 Chauncey Starr Distinguished Young Risk Analyst Award, presented by the Society for Risk Analysis (SRA).
The award is presented to SRA members age 40 years or younger for “outstanding achievement in science or public policy relating to risk analysis and exceptional promise for continued contributions to risk analysis.”
The Society for Risk Analysis is a multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, scholarly, international society for those interested in risk assessment, risk characterization, risk communication, risk management, and policy relating to risk, in the context of risks of concern to individuals, to public and private sector organizations, and to society at a local, regional, national, or global level.
