Dear SPH Faculty and Staff,

Following a comprehensive and competitive national search, we have identified a finalist for the position of Dean of the School of Public Health. The candidate has accepted and signed the offer letter, conditional upon approval of their professorial appointment.

At this stage, we are keeping the finalist’s name confidential due to the ongoing faculty appointment process, a necessary step before any individual, including a prospective Dean, can officially join BU’s faculty. We recognize and appreciate your strong interest in the search, and we are committed to keeping you informed. We anticipate a public announcement later this summer in time for the new Dean to be in place for the fall semester.
