Auditing Update.

To SPH Alumni Community Member:

For many years, SPH alumni been allowed to audit our courses for a minimal registration fee. This fall, the SPH Governing Council discussed the alumni auditing program and decided to discontinue it.

The reasons for this decision include:

• The program is out of compliance with University policy which authorizes alumni auditing only through Metropolitan College.
• The lack of seats in key SPH classes means that many alumni auditing requests must be rejected.
• It is reasonably accessible only to SPH alumni who live in the greater Boston area.

The last semester in which alumni will able to audit a class under this program will be Fall 2015.

Should you be interested in additional education opportunities at SPH, there are now two certificate programs available: Graduate Certificate in Modern Biostatistics in Clinical Trials and the Graduate Certificate in Statistical Genetics. We will inform you of other opportunities that are open to alumni as they arise.
