The Paid Family and Medical Leave Process

  • Employees can access a customized mySedgwick portal, allowing them to submit a claim electronically, check the status of their application, and chat with their claim examiner online  
  • Department leaders receive reports on the status of all employees on a leave  
  • Employees can call Sedgwick to report a claim over the phone using interactive voice response technology  
  • Employees can submit leave applications up to 60 days in advance of an anticipated leave
