Due to increased participation in Boston University’s residence program, a limited number of Boston University students will be housed at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge Hotel for the Fall 2025 semester.

Students will be assigned to a double-occupancy room at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge Hotel, located at 575 Memorial Dr, Cambridge, MA, 02139, and assigned to a meal plan. The accommodation includes a private bath, air conditioning, cable television, and internet access. In addition to a Boston University Resident Assistant assigned to the Hyatt Regency Cambridge Hotel, the hotel also has a front desk staffed 24 hours a day.

Check-In

Check-in will be located in the Inman Square room located on the 1st Floor. Students assigned to the Hyatt Regency Cambridge Hotel should arrive at the hotel on the day selected in the housing application. Please do not arrive earlier than the date and time you have selected. The hotel front desk staff will be present to welcome students and provide any assistance needed.

Students will receive their Terrier ID Card at check-in, provided they have uploaded an ID photo. Students who have not yet uploaded their photos should follow the online instructions. This card allows students to dine at any on-campus residential dining facility and retail dining locations, City Convenience stores, and vending machines across campus. A Terrier ID Card can also be used at BU Campus Store, and provides access to the Fitness and Recreation Center.

Room Cleaning

The hotel housekeeping team members will enter rooms once weekly to provide basic cleaning services, collect trash, and inspect the condition of the rooms. Students cannot refuse the weekly room inspection.

The Warren Towers laundry room, located at 700 Commonwealth Avenue, is the closest laundry facility to the shuttle drop-off location on campus.
