Orientation by Program
On-Campus (Boston-CRC) Program

- Orientation will introduce you to our MSW program and the various resources available to you. Details will be shared here once they are confirmed.

Worcester Hybrid MSW Program
2026 Orientation: Tuesday, August 18, 2026 6:00 – 8:00pm
- This is a mandatory event for all incoming Worcester Hybrid students where you will have the opportunity to learn about the expectations and structure of the programs, explore systems you will be working in during your tenure at BUSSW, and get to know the other members of your campus cohort.
- Please note this orientation is mandatory.

Online MSW Program
2026 Orientation Dates: TBA
- Orientation for Online Program (OLP) students takes place prior to the start of each semester.
- OLP students are required to participate in both the live OLP Orientation webinar and the self-paced OLP New Student tutorial.
BUSSW Online MSW Program Orientation Webinar
Online Campus New Student Orientation
- Self–paced tutorial (includes Live Classroom training) becomes available two weeks prior to the beginning of each semester.
- Login information will be emailed to admitted students.
- Access it at onlinecampus.bu.edu
PhD Program
2026 Orientation Date: September TBA
- The 2026 PhD Program Orientation will be held in September.
