Buffy Sheff Ross, MSW, LICSW graduated from BUSSW in 1995. She has a certificate in Basic Psychological First Aid and Post Traumatic Stress Management. She has been trained by the Israeli Trauma Coalition. Since graduating from BUSSW she has worked as a clinical social worker at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She spent the majority of her career providing PFA to patients in the Emergency Department. She is now the Social Work Manager for Ambulatory, Specialties and Inpatient Oncology at BWH. She has clinical expertise in crisis intervention, psychological first aid, trauma informed care, substance abuse, and those with complicated medical and psychiatric illness. This is Buffy’s 4th year as a faculty field advisor.
