Biography

I serve as the Senior Director of Center Operations for the Biostatistics and Epidemiology Data Analytics Center (BEDAC) at Boston University School of Public Health. In my role, I oversee and center operations, collaborating closely with approximately 35 highly skilled data professionals. Our team specializes in data management, database and web programming, and sophisticated statistical analysis, supporting a wide range of research initiatives.

With graduate training in Epidemiology, Environmental Health, and Biostatistics, combined with over 24 years of progressive experience, I bring robust expertise in data and project management, statistical analytics, and advanced SAS programming. My professional background encompasses the design, development, and management of complex, integrated data capture and reporting systems tailored for diverse research environments. I have successfully led data management and analytic components of numerous multi-site projects, randomized clinical trials, and large-scale research centers.

My core competencies include strategic project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation; electronic data capture system implementation utilizing platforms such as TeleForm, REDCap, Qualtrics, and StudyTrax; the development of customized web-based data systems; and the creation of comprehensive data management protocols. Additionally, I specialize in advanced statistical programming with a focus on enhanced efficiency and rigorous data security, providing expert-level SAS-based data management, analytics, and reporting solutions tailored to complex public health research projects.
