Julie Attys, second to left, interned with Hands Up for Haiti in Cap-Haitien, Haiti, where she collected qualitative data for the organization's acute child malnutrition program. The program provides daily supplements to malnourished children.
Julie conducted a qualitative data training session with community health workers, and received feedback from them on a questionnaire she developed to assess health behaviors and barriers of malnourished children.
Carlotta Cellini, left, interned with the World Health Organization in Manila, Philippines, where she helped identify strategic areas of support on pharmaceutical supply chain management that aligns with the country's recently passed Universal Health Care Act.
Carlotta attended a technical consultation where representatives from partnering health organizations analyzed plans to re-establish the health system and improve health outcomes in the newly ratified region of Bangsamoro, Philippines.
Bridget Muckian and Hiba Kouser conducted breast cancer research during their practicum with the Cancer Epidemiology Education in Special Populations Program in Morocco.
Hiba Kouser collected data from cancer registry records for retrospective studies she conducted at a hospital in Casablanca, Morocco.
Emily Hammel participated in the Saha Global Leadership Program in Tamale, Ghana, where she served as a field representative to help implement sustainable water treatment centers in the most rural parts of northern Ghana.
Emily collaborated with Ghanian women entrepreneurs to help them launch their own clean water businesses that can fulfill their communities' basic water needs.
Bonny Nunez, Ashley Scott, Darian Leta, and Katherine Key participated in the Mexico Field Program at the Instituto Nacional de Salud Publica (INSP) in Cuernavaca, Mexico, where they completed community health assessments alongside INSP MPH students.

Kayla Hui and Grace Robbins completed their practicums at the Center for Sensory Impairment, Aging, and Metabolism in Livingston, Guatemala, where they conducted nutrition research on lactation, body composition, and hydration status.
At a public health center in Livingston, Guatemala, Kayla and Grace interviewed 50 lactating women to gain insight into their dietary beliefs and practices.
In between analyzing data in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, Grace and Kayla sampled Guatemalan coffee and hot chocolate at local coffee shops. Guatemala, where cacao is produced, is often touted as the "birthplace of chocolate."
