Hatch, Cabral and Massaro Promoted to Full Professors.
Three BUSPH faculty members in epidemiology and biostatistics have been promoted to full professors, along with 11 other colleagues from the medical campus.
In epidemiology, Elizabeth Hatch, whose work looks at prenatal exposures to the synthetic hormone diethylstilbestrol (DES) and its long-term health effects, was promoted. She received a 2012 Merit Award from the National Institutes of Health.
In biostatistics, full professorships were given to Howard Cabral, an expert on longitudinal data analysis, and Joseph Massaro, who performs longitudinal statistical analysis for the Framingham Heart Study, assessing risk factors for cardiovascular disease and dementia.
