Film Screening of ‘Monster’ and Panel Discussion on Medical Ethics.
Neal Bell’s play Monster, based on the novel Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, raises many questions about the role of science in creating or altering life, and the difficulties posed in wielding that power responsibly.
On Monday, January 28 at 4:30 PM, please join Medical Campus students, faculty and staff for a free film screening of the production, originally developed by the College of Fine Arts Boston Center for American Performance (BCAP) in collaboration with the College of Communication Film and Television Department.
Following the screening, School of Theatre Director Jim Petosa will lead a panel discussion about medical ethics featuring George Annas and Michael Grodin from the School of Public Health in conversation with Michael Kaye and Tim Spears, School of Theatre faculty and Monster cast members.
