David Seltz Named as Speaker for Sept. 12 Public Health Forum.
The Department of Health Policy and Management is pleased to announce that David Seltz, senior policy advisor for Senate President Therese Murray, will be the speaker at the September 12 Public Health Forum.
For the past nine years, Seltz was the key Senate staffer involved in both Massachusetts health reform bills. He was recently tapped by Governor Deval Patrick to lead the implementation of the new health care cost-containment law. His discussion will center on the the results of the first round of legislation; and the intent, politics, and content of the recently signed cost-containment law.
