Our Purpose
The Think. Teach. Do. (TTD) Fellowship offers SPH students an opportunity to advance public health excellence by serving as paid consultants to the School. Fellows advise on the design and implementation of best practices that support and strengthen our community. Assigned to projects across the School, Fellows collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to ensure that curricula, course materials, trainings, and research activities align with the varied and evolving needs of the global public health landscape. The Fellowship seeks to engage students with a wide range of experiences and perspectives, reinforcing our mission to “Think. Teach. Do. For the Health of All.”
Become a TTD Fellow
Are you passionate about driving positive change within BUSPH? Apply to join the TTD Fellowship. Each fall, we select a new cohort of Fellows for the academic year.
As a TTD Fellow, you will be assigned to projects submitted by members of the School community, which are reviewed, selected, and approved by the TTD Leadership Committee. Fellows work approximately 5-10 hours per week on their projects and participate in required monthly cohort meetings. Throughout the Fellowship, students receive training and ongoing support from Deans Andrade and Cozier, along with other members of School leadership.
Fellows are compensated at a rate of $20 per hour. For questions regarding the application process, please contact sphdi@bu.edu.
