Boston University policy requires withholding all credits, educational services, and certifications of academic records from anyone whose financial obligations to the University (including Student Accounts, Loans, deferred payments and/or liability for damages) are due and/or unpaid.

Overdue obligations referred to the University Collection Department, or to an outside agency or attorney, for collection efforts and/or legal suit are increased to cover all reasonable costs of collection, including collection agency and attorneys’ fees, and court costs.

By registering for any class at the University, students accept and agree to be bound by the above policy as applied to any preexisting or future obligation to the University. Tuition and fees will not be refunded in the event the mode of instruction changes for any part of the academic year.
