Biography

With twenty years of experience in biostatistics and data analytics, I have developed a passion for translating complex data into impactful public health initiatives. My journey began at Boston University, where my undergraduate and graduate studies in statistics provided a strong foundation in both statistical theory and practical skills. This academic background informs my leadership at the Biostatistics and Epidemiology Data Analytics Center (BEDAC), where I lead diverse teams focused on optimizing research operations and fostering strategic growth.

In my leadership roles, I have prioritized mentorship and professional development, creating a culture of continuous learning that empowers my team members. This approach has resulted in enhanced project outcomes and stronger relationships with stakeholders. My experience includes providing expert testimony in a federal trial, reinforcing my belief that data interpretation can significantly influence policy and improve lives. Each step of my career has deepened my understanding of the critical role of robust data management in advancing essential public health goals.

My principal strengths include advanced statistical programming, project management, and data visualization. Proficient in SAS and R, I conduct detailed analyses to derive actionable insights while utilizing tools like Power BI to communicate findings effectively.
