2025 SPH Convocation Season
Scenes from the 2025 SPH Convocation, the SPH Awards and Honors Ceremony, and the Multicultural Graduation Celebration
On May 17, the Boston University School of Public Health celebrated the achievements of its graduates with a Convocation ceremony that convened students, faculty, staff, and distinguished guests to honor the hard work and dedication of the Class of 2025. Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, whose 7th District covers most of Boston and several surrounding communities, delivered a rousing keynote address that reminded the graduates of their indelible place in helping secure a healthier future for all, especially the most vulnerable.

The SPH Awards and Honors Ceremony
The annual SPH Awards Ceremony on May 16 recognized faculty, staff and students who have made extraordinary contributions to the SPH community. Each year, the ceremony celebrates the work of honorees who are presented awards and/or certificates to commemorate their achievements. Online MPH Meet and Greet
On May 16, the first cohort of students in the School’s innovative Online MPH Program gathered in person for the first time to share their experiences.




Multicultural Graduate Reception
On May 9, the School held its annual Multicultural Graduate Reception, an event that honors the academic and leadership accomplishments of Boston University School of Public Health’s graduating underrepresented students. This celebration is hosted by the Students of Color for Public Health, Queer Alliance, and the International Students Organization.
