Frenemies to Friends: Building a Lifelong Friendship Across Political Difference With Master Lecturer Andy Andres (CGS) and NYT Columnist David French.
- Starts: 4:30 pm on Wednesday, March 25, 2026
- Ends: 5:30 pm on Wednesday, March 25, 2026
Political disagreement is one of the most polarizing forces in our society today, permeating nearly every facet of our experience. When Professor Andy Adres (CGS) and New York Times columnist David French first met, they assumed their disagreements would prevent them from forming a close bond. Decades later, they are joining us to reflect on the trajectory of their friendship, and how they have become close friends despite their passionate disagreement about so many political issues.
Join us on March 25, 2026 at 4:00 pm in the Howard Thurman Center room 104 to hear from Andy, David, and moderator Clark Warner (Questrom) for an engaging and insightful conversation about what it means to really live pluralism and engage productively and passionately across difference.
