Love and Loss After Wounded Knee: A Biography of an Extraordinary Interracial Marriage, tells the complicated story of star-crossed lovers, Elaine Goodale and Ohíye S’a, Dr. Charles Alexander Eastman, in the wake of the Wounded Knee Massacre, and how this historical event impacted their marriage and altered their lives forever.
