Introducing Blackboard Learn: The newest version of the Blackboard Learning Management System

Beginning in January 2013 BU’s new and improved learning management system will be unveiled and available for faculty and students. You want to go with this system! It is faster and more flexible. This session focuses on the course building and course communications tools in the Blackboard Learning System. After this workshop, you will be able to:

• Add, modify, manage, and remove course content
• Communicate with students using discussion boards, emails, and announcements
• Customize the course menu
• Manage users and groups
• Collect assignments online
• Generate surveys and quizzes
• Use the grade book
