Georgia Nichols (MAIA ‘ 23) Recounts Her Field Research Experience in Vanuatu

Pardee School Graduate Students Visit UN and Diplomatic Missions in NYC
Students received a guided tour of the UN headquarters and visited four missions and a number of dignitaries where they learned about how much these states use the potential that multilateralism offers and what they do to overcome challenges stemming from their limited resources and inbuilt perception of their secondary role in global affairs.
Madison Romo (Pardee ’22) Awarded Charles B. Rangel Fellowship
The Rangel Graduate Fellowship is a program that aims to attract and prepare outstanding young people for careers in the Foreign Service of the U.S. Department of State in which they can help formulate, represent, and implement U.S. foreign policy. Joshua Wright (BA IR ’22) Shares Story of Field Research in Kenya
“One of the first lessons I learned while reading post-colonial literature was the importance of rejecting Western exceptionalism and understanding that our perspective might not reflect that of the communities involved.
