Merit Scholarships
The unique educational experience at Boston University’s Metropolitan College (MET) is defined not only by dedicated, expert faculty, but by students who are self-motivated, professionally accomplished, and driven to succeed. MET students make exceptional contributions to the classroom, sharing diverse perspectives on complex issues and serving as a valuable resource for peer support and network connections.
Eligibility Requirements
Consideration for a merit scholarship is based on the following eligibility requirements:
- Applicants must be seeking admission to a master’s degree program at BU MET
- The Application for Graduate Admission must be submitted by the relevant application deadline
This merit scholarship cannot be combined with other BU scholarships or discounts. Please note that employees of Boston University and Boston Medical Center (BMC) are not eligible for merit scholarships.
Scholarship Application Guidelines
A completed Application for Graduate Admission must be submitted to be considered for a scholarship. No additional application is required.
All domestic and international applicants to a master’s degree program are automatically considered for this merit scholarship. The admissions committee will nominate admitted students to receive this award, based on the strength of each applicant’s academic qualifications and professional experiences. Scholarship recipients will be notified of their award with their admissions decision.
