Ethan Wanner

CAS’26 Biology, Pre-med

Hello! My name is Ethan (he/him), and I’m a junior (c/o 2026) in the College of Arts and Sciences studying biology on the pre-med track. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time in Kilachand thus far, from the camaraderie of suite-style living to unique seminar classes (shoutout Spies and Terrorists of Boston) and everything in between.

Pre-professionally, I have experience with clinical internships, one of which was through the Kilachand Internship Program (KIP), as well as off-campus research at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) and volunteering in Boston.

Outside of academics, I’m heavily involved in the a cappella scene at BU as the music director of the only all-male group on campus, the Dear Abbeys. I’ve also served as a First Year Student Outreach Program (FYSOP) staff leader. Unofficially, I’ve been doing freelance photography for several years, I enjoy rock climbing at FitRec, I often play piano in the Kilachand common room, and I always enjoy a night out (or in) with my friends!

Looking forward to sharing insights and meeting the next generation of honors students! In the meantime, I’d be more than happy to chat about being on the pre-med track, my time in KHC, or my experience in balancing it all with the arts; so feel free to reach out!
